Spring semester has begun and the Agromeck staff has already completed their fourth deadline!

The staff successfully submitted 38 pages to be published. This deadline includes widespread coverage of memorable and historical events such as My Culture is Not a Costume, Red and White Ball, Finals, December Graduation, Winter Welcome Week, and the Snowfall! In addition, our fourth spread of the deadline features the celebration of Native American Heritage Month. November is Native American Heritage Month, and NC State’s Multicultural Student Affairs hosted various native cultural events. These events consisted of a Mural Reveal at Poole College on November 12th and the Cultural Show where different performers and speakers of the eight NC tribes came to Talley Student Union on November 18th. Our spread captures the cultural events and members of the audience who participated.

“This deadline, the Native American Heritage Month was definitely one of my favorites. I loved how the spread included infographics that were very informational and how the interviewees had strong stories to tell. Overall, it’s a spread that I was happy to see,” Jermaine Hudson, design editor, said.
