Letter from the Editor | Deadline Two

Hey Wolfpack! With move in weekend upon us, campus appears to be returning to its natural state of activity and we here at Agromeck could not be more excited! This campus thrives when all of its parts come together to create the lively community we all know and love, and with the Class of 2022 joining the Pack for the first time, things can only get better! Agromeck also has more reasons to celebrate as we just finished our second deadline and are preparing to welcome new members of our staff at the Student Media Open House this Tuesday. Letter from the Editor: Deadline One

Hello Wolfpack! My name is Katie Tart and I am serving as the editor-in-chief for Agromeck, NC State’s official yearbook. Spread of the Deadline | Ring Ceremony

When our leadership staff traveled to Bald Head Island for our leadership retreat given to us by Balfour, our adviser Martha Collins strongly encouraged Photo Editor Kaydee Gawlik to start experimenting with video for our social media and our website. Gawlik did just that, and created this short clip displaying what really goes on behind the scenes with the Agromeck staff: hard work and a little bit of chaos.

    On Assignment | Leadership Retreat

This past week the 2018-2019 Agromeck leadership staff took a trip to Bald Head Island, North Carolina to partake in our annual leadership retreat. The staff spent four days on the island, courtesy of our book publisher, Balfour, building team bonds, brainstorming ideas for the next book, and sharpening our skills in our weaker areas in order to return to Raleigh stronger than we left it. Martha Collins, the Agromeck adviser, led the new leadership staff through a series of activities, including simple getting-to-know-you questions and a critique of the previous year’s book. She also facilitated a discussion about what makes a good leader and how we will lead the…
