Sophie Wiseman-Floyd, sophomore studying Industrial Design, sits in front of Leazar Hall, which houses the studio and office space for the School of Design. Wiseman-Floyd is wearing a necklace of her own design from one of her two companies, Heir Raleigh. Wiseman-Floyd started her first company, Haiti’s Jewels, in 2012 and founded Heir Raleigh in 2014.

McNeil. “After listening in on interview between her and Eliza, and meeting her myself I tried to craft a portrait that would match her soft features, creative and captivating spirit. I used a reflector and natural light to eliminate some of the shadow of her face and give her eyes highlight. This definitely has to be one of my favorite portraits of this year.”
