The NC State Student Media Board of Directors' meeting for March has been rescheduled. The new meeting date and time will be Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in Witherspoon 356, which is located in the African-American Cultural Center.
At this meeting, the board will consider recommendations from the Annual Publications, Broadcast, Business Office and Newspapers advisory boards in appointing the top leaders at each organization for the 2015-2016 academic year.

NC State Student Media is now accepting applications for editor and general manager positions for the 2015-2016 academic year.
The deadline for applications is at noon on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 307A Witherspoon. Members of the Annual Publications, Broadcast, Business Office and Newspaper advisory boards will interview all applicants between Friday, Feb. 6 and Monday, March 2. Specific dates and times for those meetings will be announced and advertised in advance.

WKNC 88.1 FM will hold its twelfth annual Double Barrel Benefit concert Saturday, Feb. 7 at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh and Saturday, Feb. 14 at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro. Lincoln Theatre will host Spider Bags to kick off the festival and Cat’s Cradle will feature Eternal Summers for the final night. The full lineup will be announced in early January.

WKNC students led two educational sessions at College Broadcasters, Inc.'s third annual National Student Electronic Media Convention Oct. 23-25, 2014 in Seattle. #CBISeattle featured more than 100 breakout sessions and brought nearly 500 students, advisers/managers and professionals to Seattle for the three-day event.
